Keshav Prasad Maurya demands blue print of work in the villages

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya directed the officials to draw a blue print of work in the villages selected under the Member of Parliament (MP) `Adarsh Gram Yojna’ scheme and to ensure their timely completion. Maurya passed above instruction while interaction with senior officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) here on Tuesday morning. ``The schemes announced for development in the villages of meritorious students of the Board examinations should be also completed in time”, Maurya asserted while directing to draw a roadmap to connect the villages of meritorious students, outstanding sports person,  martyrs etc with main roads and to finish the work. For rapid economical development, Maurya sanctioned Rs 900 crore and directed the officials to meet out the target of it’s completion time. He also said that by May 1 this year, E-registration, e-budget Apps must be launched and it must be also ensured that the details of sanctioned/ constructed roads, bridges must be upgraded on day to day basis. Showing his concern over poor condition of state guest houses, Maurya asked the officers to plan out their revival plan and submit the proposal so that the work on them could be started at earliest.  

Asking to ensure pot-hole free roads in the state, Maurya said that just like in Bihar, the road ambulance scheme should be taken as a pilot project in the state so that repair work could be immediately taken up on all important roads. Deputy CM also asked to submit a plan for constituting an `advisory committee’ which would ensure quality of work. He also directed the officials to collect proposals, sanctioned plan along with budgetary provisions from all the MLAs so that work in their respective constituencies could be taken up. Maurya also asked the officers to carry out `Swachata’ Drive on every first Sunday of the month to make their districts more neat and clean. The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary (PWD), Sanjay Agarwal, Secretary PWD, Sameer Verma and special secretary PWD, Rajshekhar and other senior officers.
