Pastor Lolly 'Mizpah' Vanport Laurel Byers, 76, of Vanport, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:37 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018. Lolly was born April 21, 1942, a daughter of the late Ed Hahn and Margaret Muschweck Sweesy. Lolly graduated from Rochester High School in 1960. She worked for Beeline and Kaufmann's and was the secretary at Tamaqui Village and also served as secretary on the board. She started Shiloh Assembly Ministries in 1998, where she was the Director and Pastor. She dedicated her life to intercessory prayer with prophetic administration. She also made many sacrifices for the benefit of others. Edwin "Baggy" Byers was her married partner for 54 years until his passing in May 2017. They had a son, Edward Michael Byers, Charlotte, North Carolina. Lolly also was survived by her beloved sisters, Sandy Barney, Judy Heilman and Sherry Price, and sister-in-law, Shirley Rini. She had many precious nieces and nephews and her loyal cousin, Karen Stratton, and best friend, Linda Sutton Townsend. She was loved by her church family and many others from the United States and Canada all the way to Israel. She took ministry teams to Israel 26 times that changed the lives of many people. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Assembly Ministries, 1112 Third Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066. A lunch will follow.
