
Saroj Khan apologises for her remark on casting couch in Bollywood
Saroj Khan shocked the nation today when she “defended” casting couch culture in Bollywood. The renowned choreographer said there was nothing new in casting couch in Bollywood because it "at least gives livelihood", according to ANI report. Her statement caused much buzz everywhere and several members of the social media reacted on it. Now, Saroj Khan has come to the forefront to speak on the ongoing issue. She apologized for her comment and said that she was only answering what she was asked.
"I was answering the question that I was asked. Only my answer was shown not the question, still I am sorry, I apologise", Saroj Khan was quoted as saying to India TV.
Saroj Khan said that nobody would sell herself if she was confident about her potential and talent to make it on her down. "Does not rape and leave you. It is up to the girl, what she wants to do. If you don't want to fall into wrong hands, you won't. If you are talented, why would you sell yourself? Don't blame the film industry's name, it is everything to us", the choreographer said.
