Farhan Akhtar is a rare combination of talent. He does everything from writing to directing to producing to acting to singing and he does all these well. In Farhan's sister Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, we saw him play Imran, a copywriter, who does not mince his words. Zoya once said she wrote the character keeping Farhan in mind and Imran is mostly how Farhan is in real life.

The day before, Farhan proved Zoya right. He tweeted the script for a new biopic with a disclaimer that said, "To whomsoever this may offend, my intention is to get people to laugh a little. If you feel otherwise, please read it again. It might just be about you."

Farhan's new script is a biopic of a troll. Here's what he tweeted.

"Biopic of a Troll.

Film opens in a delivery room. The cry of a newborn is heard. Doctor looks at the baby and her expression changes to worry.

Parents anxiously ask, "Kya hua doctor? (What happened doctor?"

Doctor: "I'm sorry. Ghadda hua hai (It's a donkey)!"

Mother bursts into tears as father consoles her.

Roll end credits."

Targetted trolling has become a serious issue in the social media space. Trolls, with eggheads as profile photos and fake profiles, bombard social media users, who have opinions different from them, with abuses, rape and death threats. Even political parties have their own troll armies that would harass those who tweet against their parties.

Farhan has been vocal about many societal issues and is the founder of Men Against Rape and Discrimination (MARD), a social campaign that aims to raise social awareness against rape and discrimination of women.

Farhan often tweets about current affairs and urge people and politicians to be better. However, there have been times when the actor-director was criticised for being silent when fellow stars, Salman Khan for instance, pass sexist comments.
