CHANDIGARH: With mixed feelings students of class XII under Central Board of secondary are all set to appear for the retest for economics paper on Wednesday in Chandigarh Panchkula and Mohali.

While some students fear that the paper will be difficult the others feel it would be easy as CBSE is at fault for not keeping the papers safely. They feared that they will not be able to score that well in this exam as they could not prepare with as much concentration. There was still a sense of betrayal and injustice among the students as they said that the other papers had leaked too then why re test for only one paper.

"I am not sure if I will be able to perform as good as I performed in the exam earlier. I was sure to score more than 70 marks out of 80. This time I could not work that hard because I was not prepared for a re-test. I feel really ad about this entire situation I am in and that too because of someone else's mistake," said Rahul Dahiya a student of government model senior secondary school in sector 22.

Getting back in the exam mode was a challenge students said. "Last time I had worked really hard to prepare and this time I could not do so as I feel stressed out. I have been giving exams from last 40 to 50 days which is a very long period. I am totally exhausted," said Jatin Dua, a student of Government Model senior secondary school in sector 46.

Pankhuri Garg, a student of Bhavan Vidyalaya school in sector 15 Panchkula said, "It is not my fault that the paper got leaked but it is nothing less than punishment to appear for the same paper again. Other papers too had got leaked but that has been conveniently ignored. The students did not leak the paper, it certainly must be their own authorities but we are paying the price. Instead of focusing on competitive exams I am still to get through boards."

Talking about what kind of paper she expects, she said, "It certainly will be easy as CBSE has to save itself from the embarrassment of paper leak. It is their fault."

A Kendriya Vidyalaya sector 47 said, "I am nervous as I am expecting a difficult paper this time."

Luvleena Saini, a student of St Joseph School in sector 44 says she is confused and not sure how she will perform. "I had given my best in the paper in first attempt and now I am really confused how the exam will be. though I expect an easy paper as we have prepared so hard."
