PlayStation Plus will be revealed by Sony later this week

The PlayStation Plus May 2018 free games are about to be revealed by Sony.

Free , PS3 and PlayStation Vita PS Plus games will be revealed by Sony at 4.30pm UK time on April 25.

The new releases will be available for PS Plus subscribers to download less than a week later on May 2.

The next batch of games will replace the likes of Trackmania Turbo and Mad Max.

PS3 users can currently download In Space We Brawl and Toy Home, while PS Vita owners can grab 99 VIDAS and Q*Bert Rebooted.

PlayStation Plus releases typically leak ahead of Sony's reveal, but in the meantime, Express Online has put together a list of predictions and most wanted PS4 games.

First-party releases like Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and The Last of Us Remastered would be welcome additions to PS Plus.

Sony has already pulled out a first-party exclusive or two this year, making the likes of Bloodborne, Ratchet & Clank and Knack free to PS Plus subscribers.

Games like The Order 1886 and Killzone: Shadow Fall also seem like solid choices.

God of War 3 Remastered would make thematic sense given the release of the new God of War, although this seems unlikely.

Looking at previous Xbox Games with Gold releases, Sony could also make something like Watch Dogs available for free.

And speaking of PlayStation Plus, PS4 owners can currently make a big saving on annual subscriptions.

Available until May 4, customers can get a 15 month subscription for the price of a £49.99 12 month membership.

With 3 month PS Plus subscriptions costing £19.99, the deal represents a big saving.

In addition to monthly games, PS Plus subscribers get access to online multiplayer, exclusive savings and more.
