Crompton Greaves unveils innovative fans, coolers

Company launches fans and coolers called ‘Air 360’ and ‘tricool’

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., (CGEL) on Tuesday unveiled innovative range of fans and coolers called ‘Air 360’ and ‘tricool’ to stay cool during the summer.

“We are coming out with a pilot with these water coolers to test the market, till the next summer,” said Mathew Job, chief executive officer, CGEL. “This is the first product to be designed on the lines of the split air-conditioner as space is a big constraint in many homes.

“We are the first company to come out with a standalone cooler that delivers 60% better cooling than the standard plastic coolers and it also saves space. We have to wait for two months or till next summer to get the feedback. It is priced at ₹12,500,” he said.

Regarding the Air 360 fans, he said it came with a unique elevated blade design that delivered air over 50% more room space than regular fans. Priced at ₹2,375, it was available in two variants and the third one at ₹2,575.
