Toddler in serious condition after being struck by car in Auckland

A 16-month-old child is in a serious condition after being struck by a car in Otahuhu in south Auckland on Tuesday afternoon.

St John Ambulance were called to the scene on Queen Street just after 4pm.

The baby has been taken to Middlemore Hospital.

Police are at the scene and said the Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
