Five held for illegal mining

The Ketar police today arrested five persons for carrying out illegal sand mining at Kol road under same police station. Five tractor-trailers loaded with sand were seized. Besides, police also arrested two accused.

A case under Section 54(1) of the Mining Act, 379/411 and 413 of the IPC has been registered against them at the Ketar police station.

Those arrested were identified as Bimlesh Kumar a resident of village Singhpur, Rahul Kumar Vishwakarma, Ankit Gupta both resident of village Tali, Chhotan Ram and Pramod Kumar Gupta both of village Parsodih all under Ketar Police station.

Absconding  accused were identified as Dilip Kumar Gupta a resident of village Parsodih and Damru Sao resident of Tali both under Ketar police station.

According to statement issued by DSP headquarter Sandip Gupta after directive of Garhwa SP Mohammad Arshi a police team led by Police Inspector Ashok Kumar and OC Ketar Chandramani Bharti conducted raid and arrested the accused persons.
