Gujarat rose 7.42% to Rs 461.85 at 15:16 IST on after net profit surged 37.98% to Rs 328.98 crore on 14.01% increase in total income to Rs 1815.43 crore in Q4 March 2018 over Q4 March 2017.

The result was announced after trading hours yesterday, 23 April 2018.

Meanwhile, the Sensex was up 168.06 points, or 0.49% to 34,618.83.

On the BSE, 12.07 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 2.95 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 475.40 and a low of Rs 452.55 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 548.50 on 24 October 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 253.60 on 11 August 2017.

The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 155.42 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
