BJP government is sheltering the criminals in UP

Lambasting Union Minister Santosh Gangwar for his comment on incidents of rape, the Rashtriya Lok Dal state spokesman Surendra Kumar Trivedi said the people of the state are stunned at minister’ take on the issue and demanded the Union minister to resign for his slapdash comment. 

“People are in a state of shock at the incidents which were reported in Unnao, Kathuwa and Surat and at spurt in such incidents. The BJP government in the states, where the incidents took place, is sheltering the criminals and the police was inactive in initiating probe of such incidents and the incidents had caused the people to lose trust in Union government,’ he said.

He said Gangwar’s statement that one should no blow out of proportion one two incidents reported in Unnao, Kathuwa and Surat, was like mocking at public for their view point on these incident. “The minister seemed not concern with the public sentiments and the growing fear among them due to the spurt in such incidents. On one hand when the President of India is issuing ordinance about capital sentence to those found guilty of raping minor, the BJP leaders are preferring whimsical way to comment on rape incidents,’ he said. Trivedi pleaded the President to terminate Gangwar for his irresponsible comment.
