Sriganganagar was today recorded as the hottest place in Rajasthan, recording a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius, followed by Jaisalmer where the day temperature was 42.4 degrees Celsius.
Barmer, Churu, Bikaner and Kota recorded maximum of 42.3, 42, 41.7 and 40.8 degrees Celsius respectively, while other districts registered maximum temperature below 40 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological (MeT) Department here.
