Swapping out his black cowboy hat from the last round for a white one, Ormond Beach's Kaleb Lee performed Lonestar's 1999 "Amazed" live Monday on NBC's "The Voice."

"I thought it was my wedding song," the 32-year-old said. "I don't remember (what was), but it wasn't this one."

Lee, in the show's top 12, and his wife have three children.

"This song does remind me of how awesome my wife is," he said. "If you have had the worst day, she will make you feel better."

His coach, Kelly Clarkson, said Lee sounds like "the country I grew up on: like that kind of authentic country music that I love."

"I know you got a little tripped up ... that's OK," she said. "I would rather hear an emotional singer be pitchy a little bit and then just blossom because that's what people relate to."

Following fan voting, the show's top 12 will be narrowed to 11 at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
