In Turkey, an earthquake struck in the southeastern province of Adiyaman early today, injuring 39 people and damaging buildings.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake, which struck at 0034 GMT, had a magnitude of 5.2 and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
State-run Anadolu news agency reported quoting Health Minister Ahmet Demircan that 35 of the 39 injured were being treated but none were in a serious condition.
Images posted on social media showed serious damage to numerous houses.
Anadolu said, the quake was followed by eight small aftershocks.
