Arrivals of Australian coal fell 3.5 percent last month to 6.43 million tonnes, but the country remained the largest coal supplier to China.

* China's coal imports from Indonesia soared 88.7 percent in march from a year ago to 4.82 million tonnes, data from the General Administration of Customs showed on Tuesday. March imports were also up from February's 3.72 million tonnes

* Arrivals of Australian coal fell 3.5 percent last month to 6.43 million tonnes, but the country remained the largest coal supplier to China

* Coal mports from Mongolia rose to 3.04 million tonnes in March from 1.26 million tonnes in February, but slid 0.2 percent compared to a year ago

* Shipments from Russia jumped to 2.56 million tonnes last month, up from 1.79 million tonnes the previous month and from 2.3 million tonnes in March, 2017
