A man was taken to the hospital after an incident Monday night on Sunset Street in Schenectady.

Schenectady police said the man was struck in the head with a blunt object. The man's condition was not immediately clear.

Schenectady police did not say anything about whether a suspect was in custody or what lead to the incident.
