All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

In Maharashtra, bodies of 37 Naxals have been recovered, so far, after encounters with security forces in the last two days, in Gadchiroli district.

Maharashtra Police PRO Prashant Diwte told AIR that the Naxalites were killed by the elite C-60 commandos in encounters in Kasnasur and Jimalgatta jungles of the district. Police said, the toll might go up as the search for bodies is still underway.
