Radio ratings: 97.3FM and HIT105 tie for breakfast top spot
A surge in listeners to 97.3FM’s Bianca, Terry and Bob morning show have seen the station to tie for top breakfast spot with HIT105 as ABC Radio Brisbane takes a dive.
In the second round of GFK radio ratings for 2018, ABC Radio Brisbane morning duo Craig Zonca and Rebecca Levingston suffered a massive 2.5 per cent drop from last survey, bumping it from third to sixth place in Brisbane breakfast radio ratings.
97.3FM jumped 1.1 per cent to tie with Hit105’s Abby, Stav and Matty for top breakfast radio slot, knocking NOVA 106.9’s Ash, Kip and Luttsy with Susie O’Neill to third, ahead of Triple M.
Things looked better for NOVA 106.9 in the drive slot, which saw Kate, Tim and Marty again take the lead, ahead of HIT 105’s Hughesy and Kate and 97.3FM’s Will and Woody.
Overall, 97.3FM was Brisbane’s most listened to radio station during the week between 5.30am and midnight, gaining 1.2 per cent for an overall 12.8 per cent audience share compared to last survey.
In a close second was NOVA 106.9 at 12.3 per cent, which fell 0.9 per cent from the last survey.
Rounding out the overall top three stations was Triple M at 11.7 per cent of audience share, up 1.4 per cent.
The worst performing station was TalkingLifestyle882, which fell 0.6 per cent to hold just 0.4 per cent of audience share in the second survey for the year.
