“Fragile,” a new single from Clifton Park native Danielle Bouchard, has dropped on Spotify and other platforms.

The tune is the latest from Luxtides, Bouchard’s solo effort, which she launched after taking a break from Oh Honey -- her folk-pop outfit with guitarist Mitchy Collins. In 2013 the duo’s bouncy, infectious “Be Okay” hit 25 in Billboard’s Adult Top 40, later showing up as a cover on “Glee.”

“It's very surreal. And especially turning on the TV and hearing your voice coming out of the commercial that's playing — or turning on the radio and hearing your song,” she told the Times Union in May 2015, shortly before performing with Oh Honey at the Albany Tulip Festival. “I don't think that will ever stop being cool.”

Bouchard, who just signed a new deal with Rough Trade Publishing, will play her first live show as Luxtides on Monday, May, 21, in Asbury Park, N.J.

According to her official bio on the Rough Trade website, Bouchard “dives into a deeper headspace for inspiration, penning darker, dreamier songs that soundtrack the whimsical sensation of floating in the ocean under a full moon.” She’s been releasing Luxtides songs “in conjunction with the moon phases”:  “Shadow” in August, then “Flickered” in November.
