Cucumber: Known as kheera in Hindi, is low in calories and contain a good amount of water and soluble fiber, making them ideal for promoting hydration and aiding in weight loss. There are only eight calories in a half cup (52 gm) serving, and their water content makes them very refreshing. Add cucumber to salads and sandwiches, but they can also be included in cooked dishes like stir-fries and soups. Eating cucumbers may lead to digestive regularity and lower blood sugar levels. Cucumbers are also often eaten raw as a low-calorie snack or can be paired with hummus, olive oil, salt or salad dressing to add a bit more flavour.
