Fire safety awareness
road run was held yesterday from
Baramunda fire station to the fire station at Kalpana square enroute Siripur, New Airport Road, Shishubhawan Chhak and
Rajmahal Square. DGP fire services,
BK Sharma flagged off the event while senior IPS officers and personalities from the sports world like footballer
Shradhanjali Samantray, Olympian
Anuradha Biswal, actress Bidusmita Mantri, Twinkle Mishra and fire officials were present at the event. As many as 700 participants and 12 fire service vehicles took part in the event to create awareness among people about fire safety. Besides, members of national-level fire services from Nagpur, Nagaland, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal also had taken part in the event.
