KEK inaugurates Kakileru bridge

The government has conceived Dalita Tejam programme for the development of SCs and STs in the State, Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy said here on Sunday.

He inaugurated the Kakileru bridge constructed with an outlay of ₹1.60 crore in Parumanchala village in Jupadu Bungalow mandal. The bridge which was pending for the last four decades was completed recently. The government was implementing several welfare schemes for the welfare of the downtrodden communities, he said.

Internal roads and other development activities would be taken up in the village under the SC/ST Sub-Plan, Mr. Krishnamurthy assured.

People of 12 villages including Velugodu and Thoodicherla thanked Mr. Krishnamurthy for completing the bridge. YSRCP MLA of Nandikotkur S. Aisaiah, TDP constituency in charge M. Sivananda Reddy, Kadapa RDO Hussain Saheb, Parumanchala sarpanch Vijay Kumar, ZPTC and MPTC members were present.
