Fundraising by the three Republicans vying for the chance to challenge Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., pales in comparison with the incumbent's.
Kaine, who is seeking a second term, raised nearly $2.1 million in the first quarter of 2018 and had more than $10.3 million on hand.
Nick Freitas, a state delegate from Culpeper, raised $343,364 in the first quarter and had $251,695 on hand.
Corey Stewart, chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, raised close to $220,000 during the first quarter and had $140,502 on hand.
E.W. Jackson, a minister from Chesapeake raised $130,078 during the first quarter and had $35,495 on hand.
The Republican primary is June 12.
