The 8th Meeting of the Tourism Ministers of the G20 Economies was organized on April 17 in Buenos Aires, Argentina under the South American Presidency of the G20 with a target on ways tourism can hold close more innovation and technology, promote new skills development and generatingnew jobs.
In face to face meeting with Mauricio Macri, president, Argentina, Zurab Pololikashvili, secretary-general, UNWTO, emphasized the potential of tourism in creating new jobs and the urgency to advance the adaptation of the sector to digital transformation.
“We need to promote the role that tourism has in shaping the future of our world as the sector that will create more jobs in the coming decade” emphasised, Gustavo Santos, minister, tourism, Argentina.
