Rajinikanth loved Karthik Subbaraj's 'Mercury'!

Superstar Rajinikanth watches all the important new releases at his preview theatre in his Poes Garden residence, Chennai. The veteran actor watched Karthik Subbaraj’s Mercury and invited the entire cast and crew to his house. Rajinikanth reportedly told Karthik that Prabhu Deva has excelled in his role and the film is technically brilliant.

“So happy!! Thalaivar watched #Mercury and loved it... He met the team , appreciated every aspect of the film and said it's "Super Padam".... Great to hear these words from #Superstar#Rajinikanth himself.......Thanks a lot Thalaivaaa (sic)”, tweeted Karthik Subbaraj.

Music composer Santhosh Narayanan also took to his Twitter page to share this happy moment, he tweeted “Thank you dear @rajinikanth sir for personally inviting our #Mercury team and sharing us your love for the movie. Very glad that you loved the music and our entire team of musicians feel honoured and are pumped up about #Kaala".

It’s worth mentioning here that Karthik Subbaraj is the director of Rajinikanth’s next with Sun Pictures and Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music.
