HYDERABAD: The plenary of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) to mark its foundation day will be held on April 27 at Kompally here, state IT and industries minister KT Rama Rao said on Monday.
"The party will discuss the current political situation in the state and the country and accordingly decide the future course of action that would reflect the will of the people of Telangana," KT Rama Rao, son of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said.

The plenary would also discuss various developmental and welfare measures being undertaken by the government, he said.

Formed in 2001, the party came into power in Telangana in June 2014 after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

The TRS has formed as many as nine committees for the smooth conduct of the meeting, he added.

About 12,000 to 13,000 representatives, including MLAs and Ministers from across the state are expected to participate in the plenary, KTR said.
