Daytona Beach police are looking for a suspect who they say robbed a Nova Road Taco Bell at gunpoint Sunday night.

According to an incident report, at 8:45 p.m. the suspect leaned over the counter and, holding a revolver in his pink, latex-glove-covered hand, told an employee he wasn't robbing the employee, just Taco Bell.

The incident report states that the suspect demanded an employee at the fast food restaurant located at 740 N. Nova Rd. open both cash registers. Then he began counting down from 5 seconds, reaching “2" before the employee could unlock both, the report said,

The suspect then grabbed both plastic register tills and fled out the eastern door from whence he came, the report states.

Once out the door the suspect, described as being a black man, roughly 210 pounds and around 6 feet tall, dressed in a black hoodie and camo pants, climbed into the passenger seat of a black sport utility vehicle and the driver headed south on Nova Road, the report says.

Police did not release the amount of cash taken from the Taco Bell.
