Sign up for CorpPass by Q3 2018

Doing business with the government? You need to register for CorpPass by Q3 this year. 

 

CorpPass, short for Singapore Corporate Access, is a corporate digital identity for businesses and other entities such as non-profit organisations and associations to conduct online transactions with government agencies. 

 

CorpPass will be the only login method for online corporate transactions with the government, replacing other login methods such as SingPass, EASY (E-Services Authorisation System) and agency-issued login IDs, as the sole system for Government-to-Business digital service transactions. 

 

Locally registered organisations that have a Unique Entity Number (UEN) issued by the Accounting Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) or other UEN-issuance agency, will be required to use CorpPass. 

 

Local companies that operate in Singapore but do not have a UEN need to register with an appropriate UEN-issuance agency. 

 

More than 130 digital services by 50 government agencies use CorpPass as a login mechanism and more than nine in 10 businesses have registered for it. 

 

Says Mr Chan Cheow Hoe, Government Chief Information Officer, GovTech: “CorpPass is designed for all businesses, from multinational companies to SMEs, and allows for greater data security, better control and enhanced convenience for business users when they transact with the government.”

 

Businesses can also transact with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) from Q3 using CorpPass.

• File corporate taxes

 

• Enhanced data protection

Individuals no longer need to use their personal SingPass for work transactions. 

 

• Better control for businesses

Business owners can better manage employees’ access to different government digital services. Accounts can also be deactivated easily when employees leave.

 

• Increased convenience

CorpPass is a single platform for businesses to manage access to different government digital services.
