Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh's Mandla district for a day on Tuesday to participate in a host of public programmes.
In keeping with the government's commitment towards a clean, healthy and electrified India, Modi will felicitate sarpanches of villages with 100 per cent smokeless kitchens, 100 per cent vaccination under Mission Indradhanush and total electrification under the Saubhagya Scheme.
The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of an LPG bottling plant of the Indian Oil Corporation at Maneri and launch a local government directory.
He will also interact with District Collectors of certain districts of the state.
Union Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, state Agriculture Minister Purushottam Rupala and Rural Development Minister Gopal Bhargava will be present.
Modi will leave Delhi at 9.50 a.m. and arrive at Jabalpur at 11 a.m. From Jabalpur, he will take a helicopter to reach Mandla around 11.50 a.m. He will take a return flight to Delhi at 2.25 p.m.
