Plaint against printers

The High Grounds police have registered an FIR against a printing company based on a complaint by a resident of Vasanth Nagar, who claimed that they had printed pamphlets with inflammatory content with the intention of disturbing communal harmony.

According to police, the pamphlet, printed by Rashtrothana Printers, had a headline which read Rashtra Gellisi Abhiyana (Help The Nation Win) calling people to vote along religious and caste lines.

The police suspect that a right-wing national organisation is behind this.

The High Grounds police have registered a case under Section 153c (provoking disharmony, feeling of enmity, hatred between two different communities) and Section 125 of the Representation of the People Act.

The case will be transferred to Shankarpura where the printing company is situated.
