Burgess accepts two-game ban for high shot

Sam Burgess will miss South Sydney's clashes with Brisbane and Newcastle after accepting a two-game ban for a high tackle.

The Rabbitohs have confirmed Burgess will enter an early guilty plea for his high shot on Canberra's Aidan Sezer in Saturday's win over the Raiders.

It marks the second time this year Burgess has been suspended for two weeks, with the high-hit coming in his return match from a dangerous contact charge.
