Plunkett to now bowl from the other end and once again makes the breakthrough for Delhi. After bowling a slower 2nd delivery at 122 kph, Plunkett sent the next one blazing towards the off stump at 146 kph. Agarwal is completely done in by the pace of it and has to return to the dugout. What a debut this is turning out to be for Plunkett. Yuvraj is the new man in, he gets off the mark with a single.

Dan Christian is brought into the attack. Makes a good start till Nair picks up the 5th delivery bowled short outside off stump and taps it into the gap between short third man and backward point. 8 runs off that over.

Avesh continues his spell. Nair the new man in strides forward and sends the first delivery zipping through cover for a four. Avesh makes a good comeback giving away just 4 runs in the next 5 deliveries.

Debutant Plunkett to bowl his first over in the IPL. Rahul welcomes him to the IPl by sending the slower delivery over mid on for a four. Plunkett then makes a perfect comeback with an offcutter outside off, Rahul tries to scoop the ball but doesn’t get a hold off it and the ball carries to Avesh Khan at short fine leg who dives forward and takes a beautiful catch while air borne. Great start to his IPL career as Plunkett gives away just 6 runs and helps himself to a wicket in it.

Avesh Khan returns to bowl his 2nd. Rahul picks up the very first delivery that is pitched short and sends it over fine leg for a SIX. Agarwal then punches the next one through cover for a four. Another good over for KXIP.

Boult continues with his spell. Agarwal straight away tears into the bowler with two back to back boundaries. Rahul gets into the act too sending the 4th delivery over the infield for another four. Big over for KXIP, 14 runs coming off it.

Avesh Khan to bowl the 2nd. CAUGHT! Finch is done in by the very first ball he faces from the young pacer. Avesh sends a 148 kph delivery short outside off, Finch looks for the pull shot but is unable to time it well and sends the ball to Iyer for an easy catch.
Agarwal is the new man in and he gets off the mark with a single. Rahul dispatches the last ball for a boundary down fine leg. Good over for DD with just 6 runs and the wicket coming off it.
