2015 Paris attack-suspect Salah Abdeslam on Monday is found guilty of attempt-to-murder and has been sentenced to 20-year jail term.
As per the media reports Abdeslam has been termed as a jihadist and is said to have carried out the attack with the help of his aide Sofiane Ayari.
Abdeslam had already been serving a jail term under a separate charge in connection with the 2015 Paris attacks which led to the death of 130 people.
Further, the prosecutors have demanded a 20-year-jail-term in both the cases.
Abdelsam was also involved in a shootout with the Brussels police in 2016 following which he was arrested by the police. Four police officers were said to be wounded in the incident.
