Real Madrid transfer news: Keylor Navas sends message to David de Gea and Thibaut Courtois
REAL MADRID goalkeeper Keylor Navas says he doesn’t fear the arrival of new signings in his position amid persistent links with David de Gea and Thibaut Courtois.
Navas took over from Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas in 2015 and has won La Liga, two Champions League titles, the UEFA Super Cup twice and the Club World Cup on three occasions.
But despite Navas’ accomplishments, Madrid have been consistently linked with replacements for the Costa Rican.
President Florentino Perez has been frustrated in his attempts to bring De Gea to the club while Courtois is also understood to be a target.
But Navas insists he never told Madrid not to sign players, who could ultimately replace him.

”I never said that they should not signing anyone, I am not from here but I feel the colours of the club like the rest of you,” Navas said.
“I work each day for this shirt.”
Navas’ comments came as he was inducted into the Ramon Mendoza Supporters' Group as an honorary member.

And Perez gave his backing to the goalkeeper as he paid tribute to him.
“Keylor, you have won the love and affection of everyone in Madrid," Perez said.
"You have done that through talent, professionalism and by your conduct, because you have identified with Real Madrid's values.
"We are very proud to have you as our goalkeeper, regardless of what others might say. Keep working hard and I'm sure you will be with us for many years to come."
