With 500 cyclists and runners from all across India participating at Ludhiana Duathlon 2018, the event grabbed huge participation from all across India. City was visited ny ace cyclists and runners from all across India. City’s major cycling groups supported the event whole- heartedly. The event was Organised by Lakshya sports club Delhi. The owner of the club, Mr. Bhumiraj singh stated, ” the main purpose to start off such sports activities in Ludhiana is to bring all sports enthusiasts on one platform and letting them unite with more solidarity. And with theme “stop violence against women” the club is all determined to bring awareness amongst all to stop all kind of violence against women.” Further he stated, ” we are lucky enough to get the support from cyclist groups, runners and sports lovers of the town. After first edition of Ludhiana marathon 2017, Lakshya sports club introduced Ludhiana Duathlon 2018 to the city and to our happiness, we got the same enthusiasm and positive response from this city. Ludhiana Duathlon 2018 was started from Rajguru nagar market Ludhiana early morning sharp 5:30 with the categories: Master Duathlon, 20km cycling event and 2km run. Where master Duathlon was participated by the ace cyclists and sports lovers from all across India, city people hugely participated in 20km cycling event and kids participated on 2km run event.
Event was flagged off by.Chief guests at the event were counsler Seema Kapoor, Kulveer singh Nitta, Rishmjit Gabha, Kaliya hi, DS Randhawa.  Mr. Ashwani thakur Sec. Ludhiana Bicycle Club ,Maninder Singh Thind Shahid Bhagat Singh Runners Club Indarjit raipur,Gagan Kalra Gstar, CA Rajneesh Sharma, Surendar singh gave all their support during the show.
