Another week, another new team atop the local rankings.
Thanks to Cody Duke's walkoff single in the eighth inning in last Friday's showdown with New Smyrna Beach, Spruce Creek reclaims the top spot in this week's Fab 5.
Elsewhere, Taylor continues it's strong push to end the season, while DeLand has jumped back into the mix after a strong week.
Here are the full rankings:
1. Spruce Creek (15-7)
The Hawks appear to peaking at the perfect time.
Creek defeated NSB in an extra innings thriller last Friday for it's sixth straight win, and have retaken the top spot in this week's rankings.
The Hawks and 'Cudas will meet again on Tuesday before Creek ends the season against Eau Gallie later this week.

2. New Smyrna Beach (16-7)
Sloppy defense did the 'Cudas in last Friday, as they committed four errors in the 5-4 loss.
NSB had won five straight heading into last week, but losses to Lake Brantley and Spruce Creek have the 'Cudas reeling heading into the season's final week.
Despite the two-game skid, NSB can get back on track quickly with a rematch against Creek on Tuesday, and a showdown with University to end the regular season.

3. Taylor (16-5)
Like the Hawks, Taylor is trending in the right direction with the postseason looming.
The Wildcats have won seven in a row, and are coming off an impressive week that included wins over Mainland, Father Lopez and Deltona.
Taylor will look to stay hot this week with three straight games against Pine Ridge, FPC and Matanzas to end the season.

4. Father Lopez (15-6)
Lopez started the week with the loss to Taylor, but the Green Wave did snap a three-game losing streak with back-to-back wins over Masters Academy and Lake Highland Prep on Thursday and Friday.
Now back on track, Lopez will end the season with a pair of showdowns against FPC and Warner Christian.

5. DeLand (11-9)
The Bulldogs had one of their best weeks of the season, beating defending 9A state champion Timber Creek on Monday, and following that up with wins over FPC and Lake Brantley.
