Man faces 23 charges after string of break-ins at Kitchener businesses

​A 32-year-old man is facing more than 20 charges after a string of break and enters at nail salons, restaurants and other businesses in Kitchener.

A 32-year-old man is facing more than 20 charges after a string of break and enters at nail salons, restaurants and other businesses in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police Service received several reports of break-ins and began investigating in February.

Police said in most of the cases, business doors were smashed and items were stolen.

The man is now facing 23 charges including: 

  • 11 counts of break and enter to commit an indictable offence.
  • Wearing a disguise with intent to commit an offence. 
  • Mischief.
