NTPC holds Fire Service Week in S’garh

The CISF Unit DSTPP/NTPC Fire Service Wing, Darlipali observed the National Fire Service Week from April 14 to 20 here. During observance, various events, programmes regarding fire safety awareness and different methods of extinguishing fire were organised for the employees, workers and CISF security wing personnel.

During the week, demonstration was given on how to extinguish a fire at its incipient stage, by using first aid firefighting equipment. Fire mock drill was also organised.

On the closing ceremony, chief guest CISF Assistant Commandant BN Murmu praised the CISF Fire Wing for rendering their services professionally and competently. He appealed all to follow fire safety norms and instructions and protect valuable life and property from untoward fire incidents.
