Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, last week refused to make any comment on Kathua and Unnao rape case that has shaken the entire nation. While many condemned the incidents, Big B didn’t take any stand on the issue. And owing to this, many on social media reacted with disgust over him not commenting on the heinous cases, and among them was Pooja Bhatt. Actor-filmmaker, on Twitter, reminded people about movie ‘Pink’ in which Amitabh Bachchan played a lawyer who ferociously defend a women’s right to consent.
Pooja wrote, “I can’t help being reminded of a film called Pink. Can our images on screen please be reflected in reality?”

Last week, Big B who is also the brand ambassador of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ initiative, when asked to comment on Kathua rape, he said, Mujhe uss Vishay par charcha karne mein ghinn aati hai. So uss Vishay ko uchhalo mat (I feel disgusted even talking about it. So, don’t rake up this issue). It’s terrible to even talk about it.” This statement of his left many in shock.

However, Pooja stood firm and gave it back the trollers and shun them down like a boss.
