Mark Wayne Coleman, 53, of Madison Heights, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Born on April 29, 1964, in Lynchburg, he was the loving son of Gordon Lewis Coleman Jr. and Norma Jean Coleman. He was employed by Southern Air as an equipment operator, a member of Beulah United Methodist Church, an avid Nascar fan, loved to hunt and fish and loved to play in the dirt running heavy equipment. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jacquelyne Coleman; his "Sunshine" and best friend, Pamela Ward Reese; his cherished children, Kristen Overstreet, and husband, Brian, and Kimberly Matute and special friend, Frisco Crews; his four cherished legacies, Marc Christian, Lilian Esmeralda, Kaiden Lloyd, and Kaleigh Scott; his two sisters, Sandra Coleman and fianc‚, Bill Hendricks, and Laura Minnick and husband, Daniel; a brother, Joseph Coleman and wife, Debbie; three dogs, Princess, Bella, and Buddy; and other special family members and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Whitten Monelison Chapel, officiated by Pastor Dwayne Carson. Interment will follow at Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends, from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Whitten Monelison Chapel and other times at the residence of his parents.
