Man reported missing in water at Omanawa Falls, Bay of Plenty

Emergency services are responding to reports of a man who has gone missing in the water at Omanawa Falls. 

The waterfalls is located 30 minutes from Tauranga. 

He was reported missing around 4.15pm on Sunday.

Omanawa Falls is 30 minute drive from Tauranga.

Police and Search and Rescue are making enquiries, a police spokeswoman said.

She added there is no further information available at this stage.
