Vincent Mario Lucci, 92, of Chippewa Twp., went to meet his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 20, 2018. Born January 21, 1926, in Pacentro, Italy, he was the son of the late Augustine and Rosa (Rubino) Lucci. Vince served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on an LST ship in the South Pacific. He was a member of St. Monica's Parish in Chippewa. Vince retired after 40 years of service as a group leader from Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Beaver. As an accomplished mason, cement finisher, and carpenter, he left his imprint on many homes and businesses throughout Beaver County. He belonged to the Westinghouse bowling league for many years and his other hobbies included playing cards, collecting golf balls, and solving puzzles. For Vince, there was nothing more important than his family, which he worked tirelessly to provide a better life for. He truly was the embodiment of the "Greatest Generation." Vince is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Madeline (Colaberardino) Lucci; his daughters, Renee (Jim) Antkiewicz of Center Twp. and Maureen Lucci of Dallas, Texas; his son, Vince (Maureen) Lucci of Chippewa Twp.; his grandchildren, Leah Antkiewicz, Vincent Antkiewicz, Ashley (Antwon) Lucci-Vaughn, Taylor Lucci, Dwayne Thomas, Joseph Lucci, and Grace Lucci; his great- grandchildren, Antwon and August Lucci-Vaughn; his sister, Anna (John) Groves; his brothers-in- law, Tom (Flicka) Colaberardino, and Ray (Pippie) Colaber; and his sister-in-law, Freda Colaberardino; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Ann (Lapore) Colaberardino; his grandson, August Matthew Lucci; his brother-in-law, Donald Colaberardino; and an infant brother. Friends will be received on Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com, where prayers will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Monica's, Chippewa. Father Kim Schreck will officiate. Entombment will follow in Beaver Mausoleum. The Beaver County Honor Guard will meet at the cemetery at 11 a.m. to perform full military honors.
