Burgess facing another two-week ban, charged with high shot in first game back

Sam Burgess is facing another two-week suspension after the NRL match review committee charged him with a high tackle on Aidan Sezer in the Rabbitohs' trouncing of the Canberra Raiders.

The English forward, who was playing his first match after spending a fortnight on the sidelines for collecting Bulldogs centre Josh Morris with a raised arm during a carry, will watch two more matches from the stands if he enters an early guilty plea.

He was charged with a grade two careless high tackle stemming from a spiteful match which also saw Burgess' brother George and Raiders forward Elliott Whitehead land in hot water. Both will avoid suspension with early guilty pleas.
