London Marathon 2018: WATCH furious Mo Farah suffer water bottle disaster during race

SIR MO FARAH suffered a disastrous mistake during the 2018 London Marathon this morning.

The Brit is aiming to win the 26.2 mile race for the first time as he bids to stop Kenya's dominance in the event.

Eliud Kipchoge and Daniel Wanjiru have won the race in recent years.

And the duo, along with Guye Adola, Abel Kirui, Kenenisa Bekele, Bedan Karoki, Tola Kitata and Lawrence Cherono were all in the leading pack with Farah when the disaster struck.

The Olympic hero picked up the wrong drink and had to run back to the station to collect his own.

This happened on two separate occasions, which has cost Farah a considerable amount of time.

His hopes of troubling the leaders are now dwindling.

Farah was visibly angry and frustrated as he continued to complain over the incident as he continued on half a mile further.

It is a boiling hot day in London, with temperatures around the mid-twenties.

And some Farah fans took to social media to discuss Farah's mistake.

One joked: "Finally I can relate to Mo Farah! I also can't find my drink. The only slight difference is I can just get off the sofa and I'm not running a marathon. Still, some similarities."

While another supporter was more concerned: "Come on then whose taken @Mo_Farah bottle?!? Someone get that man a drink!"
