Nicholas Merendo, 35, son of John Merendo Jr. and the late Adele (Dutkovich) Merendo, was called home to our Lord on April 20, 2018, after a long struggle with addiction. Nicholas was born on January 13, 1983, at Sewickley Hospital. He was a graduate of Quigley Catholic High School, and pursued a degree in nursing at the University of Pittsburgh Titusville, and CCBC. Nicholas was also a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Nicholas is survived by his father, John Merendo Jr.; sister, Angela Merendo and her fiancé George Nicol; his favorite nephew, Austin Merendo; and his precious niece, Bristol Nicol. Nicholas also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those who knew Nicholas remember him as being happy, compassionate, and loving. Nicholas always enjoyed helping others and he loved his family unconditionally. Nicholas is now reunited with his mother, whom he loved, adored, and missed so much. Until we meet again, we will love you always and forever.
