Himachal CM launches new initiatives on 12th Civil Services Day

Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Saturday said Civil Services have pivotal role in the democratic set up for running the Government efficiently and in an effective manner.

Speaking on the occasion of 12th Civil Services Day, he launched new initiatives and also inaugurated the online registration portal for HIPA which will ease the process of making registration and nomination of trainees.

The e-newsletter named ‘Fairlawn Updates’ and new issue of HIPA Journal were also released by the Chief Minister on the occasion. He also released the compendium on RTI Act, 2005 and HP Public

Services Guarantee Act, an initiative taken by the Department of Administration Reforms.

Thakur said digital services would help departments to reduce footfall, delivering better services with transparency.

He also exhorted the officers to work with dedication and missionary zeal and ensure that the work scheduled for today should not be postponed to tomorrow.
