Luna’s a spunky gal with loads of personality. She loves to run in the exercise yard at the Beaver County Humane Society in Center Township. What would be even better is to have a yard of her own with a loving, active family to help work off energy.
Luna doesn’t socialize well with cats so should not be adopted by a family with felines. And she must be the only dog in the house.
Luna likes to be the queen of the household, shelter staff said, and hog attention. She’s very happy and playful.
Luna’s been vaccinated and has had various health exams, flea treatment and preventive and has been spayed. An identification microchip also has been implanted.
Her adoption fee is $115.
Per state law, Beaver County residents must purchase a nonrefundable dog license at time of adoption for any canine 3 months and older. Cost is $7; $5 for senior citizens and people with disabilities.
Hours at the shelter at 3394 Brodhead Road are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; closed Sunday, Monday and holidays. For more information, call 724-775-5801.
