Tulsa police and OHP are searching for a suspect after a traffic stop led to an altercation with troopers.  

Troopers pulled over the car on I-44 near Highway 169 around 10 p.m. Sunday night. 

Reports say the driver and passenger both tried to run. The driver was arrested after getting into an altercation with OHP troopers.

Troopers say the driver threw a backpack containing marijuana into a nearby pond.

OHP and Tulsa police are still searching for the passenger. 

The driver was arrested on complaints of speeding, felony amount of drugs, and evading arrest.
