Every Day film review - A great premise and an affecting film
THERE is more than a touch of Groundhog Day in the structure of Every Day and that is no bad thing.
GETTY
Shy 16-year-old Rhiannon (Angourie Rice) is growing up in suburban Baltimore and falling under the spell of loutish Justin (Justice Smith).
Then one day Justin becomes the perfect boyfriend she really deserves because his body has been inhabited by a mysterious soul called A.
A inhabits a different body every day.
It could be male or female, any ethnicity, shape or size. So for romance to blossom, Rhiannon needs to find and recognise a new A every day.
A great premise for a cute confection of a film aimed at incurably romantic teens.
