Ryleigh McLallen of Augusta High School signed with Sterling College and will continue her softball career next season as a Warrior.

One of the biggest factors in her decision was her parents, Jon and Michelle McLallen, who both attended Sterling College.

McLallen also enjoys the small town atmosphere in Sterling, KS, which has a population of just over 2,300.

When McLallen visited the team and met the players and coaches, she immediately knew she wanted to be a part of the program.

“They were the one team I visited where it felt like a family,” said McLallen.

McLallen credits her softball coaches at Augsuta for developing her into a player that is equipped to compete at the next level.

“They do a really good job of pushing you a little bit farther than you think you can go and it sets you up for the next level,” said McLallen.
